I'm in a mood and i feel like posting more blog posts, i have a lot of thoughts i want to write down! Maybe ill try to figure out how to make a custom theme here.
Just got a graphical browser on my netbook. Its kind of ironic how its called a netbook and its not powerful enough to browse the modern web nowadays :,). i decided to go with surf, simple enough for my needs on it and doesnt chug like firefox (although it still chugs a little). its kinda annoying waiting several days for it to compile but i guess that gives me something to look forward to once its finished! Honestly idk why i decided to go with gentoo of all things on literally my worst specced laptop lol.
I also messed up the window manager trying to get i3 and xfce on my endeavouros machine (a desktop that drives my graphics tablet). it had endeavour on it for a long time already and on a whim i backed everything up and wanted to try something new: pop!_os. its been a while since ive used anything ubuntu-like. and the gnome interface seems more optimized for touch screens with the larger buttons and controls. My only problems with gnome is the lack of default customization (at least whats available in pop) and the fact that you need to install extensions for basic things like swapping the close, minimize, etc buttons to the left. (garuda dragonized converted me lmaooo) Just copying my files back and getting some programs installed
